A little about us...

In 2010 Age Concern Target Wellbeing started an amateur drama group for the over 55s, to bring people together and enable them to develop their creative skills in a friendly and stimulating community activity.  The group, now called Stage Fright, has blossomed under the guidance of a professional artistic director and has so far put on three successful shows.  Many of our members had never appeared on stage before but soon discovered hidden talents they never knew they possessed.  In the process they also had a lot of fun and made many new friends.

The Future...

Now that our original funding has come to an end, we have decided to continue as an independent organisation. We have ambitious plans for the future and have already secured a limited amount of financial support.  We aim to encourage the people of Ellesmere Port to take part, whether as performers or in equally important backstage roles.

Why not give it a try?

Come along to one of our regular rehearsal sessions (without obligation) and find out whether Stage Fright is for you.
